Wow! We had a visitor - a (baby?) bat (Elmer), which we found sleeping on a block of woodstuff. After a week of resting at the little house, the bat left one night... Good luck in your nocturnal travels, Elmer! 

There was lots of free space under the windows, the sawdust had disappeared during the past 50 years. Easy to fix!
